he ideal direct placement photographs show a celebrity either using or wearing a product in a natural environment. The idea of a celebrity actually liking a product is very much the same as any other person liking a product. If you like a pair of shoes you put them on your feet and wear them. You do not hold them up by your head and smile for a picture. If you like a shirt you would wear it, you do not hold it on a hanger and pose like a television game show model. If a picture looks like the celebrity was cornered at a trade show and posed with 100 boxes of some random product, the consumer will realize what is going on and will not give the picture any value because the endorsement does not seem authentic.
